I give them a cold bowl to play with in the hot summer, but they have a bottle in their cage for daily drinking. It doesn’t bother their teeth at all.I hope this helps!

With water bottles the ferret only gets a drop at a time where with bowls he can get mouthfuls of water. All you need to do is put the ferret infront of the bowl, wet your finger, let him lick him off your finger then guide him to the bowl for more.
